Applying for Admissions at LAS

The admission process at LAS is designed to help applying students express who they are and what they are passionate about.

Our seats are awarded to students and families on a first come, first served basis. Please keep in mind that we have waiting lists in our high school, so it’s important to apply as soon as possible.

We treat each application equally. Students who are accepted for admission are placed in the appropriate class based on their assessment performance, age criteria and official school transcripts.

Admissions

Testing for admission will only commence after all the relevant paperwork has been completed and received by the Admissions Office.

All students applying to LAS in grades 1 to 11 are tested in reading, writing and mathematics. If a student’s first language is not English, testing for English as a Second Language (ESL) will also be required. 

The student admissions test for (Pre-S, Pre-K and Kindergarten) is conducted by the early year’s teachers and is arranged in advance. The parents will also be invited to meet with the Elementary Guidance Counselor.
