Welcome to Elementary School

We are excited to welcome you to the 2022-23 school year!  We are all looking forward to returning to normal following the global pandemic.

The LAS Elementary School is a wonderful place to be. Our dedicated faculty use a variety of teaching methods and techniques to ensure that we are meeting the needs of all of our learners. Students are encouraged to participate fully, take risks, learn from mistakes, and dream big!

Our team of experienced, caring educators is committed to fulfilling the school mission: To foster an inclusive environment where students are supported on their journey to becoming independent thinkers, lifelong learners, global citizens, and empathetic individuals.

At LAS, we focus not only on the core subjects of literacy, mathematics, science and social studies, but we also encourage our students to explore the arts, technology, physical education, music and World Language, as well as a variety of after school activities. Your child’s well-being is important to us.

We firmly believe that the home-school connection is an integral part of your child’s learning. Please look forward to hearing from your child’s teacher on a regular basis, and remember that you are always welcome to contact your child’s teacher or principal with any questions or concerns.
