History

Founded in 1956 by a group of parents, the Lahore American School is a private, co-educational institution offering an American college-preparatory education from Preschool through Grade 12.

Accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, USA, Lahore American School is recognized as an American Sponsored Overseas School. It is affiliated with the Near East School Association (NESA). In addition, Lahore American School is recognized by the Government of Pakistan. A seven member Board of Directors, elected by members of the Lahore American Society governs the institution.

Our school community has a deep commitment to multi-cultural appreciation and cooperation. Our faculty and students have been drawn from several different nations and we consider this diversity one of the most valuable resources of our school.

LAS Introduced GAFE

With the help of the then technology director, LAS started their 1 to 1 Laptop Program for all secondary students. This meant that all students from grade 6 above would have to use Google Apps for Education, such as Google Classroom, to receive their assignments and instruction. This allowed efficiency for any students traveling with the school for CWW, SAISA or MUN. 0
