Wajeeha Waseem is the Elementary Learning Support Teaching Assistant at the Lahore American School. She has been a part of LAS for the past 4 years. After completing her MSc. in Human Development from the University of Punjab, her professional endeavor started with a one-year internship at the College of Home Economics where she contributed to improving behavior and social skills of children with Autism.

Before joining LAS, she worked in two different IB schools in Lahore. In her eight years of special education teaching experience, she has learned and applied many effective strategies to support her students with learning disabilities. Ms Wajeeha is a passionate educationist and holds certificates in dyslexia interventions and cognitive skills development.

She is now a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) in Colorado, USA, through this course she has studied in detail Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and is now more confident in applying these techniques with her students to help them acquire academic and functional skills and modify problem behaviors by teaching replacement skills.
