Secondary Guidance

Secondary Counselor’s Welcome

I have been a member of the LAS community since 2014 and will be taking on the role of guidance counselor. As a guidance counselor I will be working to make LAS a positive school environment for students, parents, faculty, and staff! I’m looking forward to working with our diverse students 1 on 1, in small groups, during advisory lesson, and during lunch time meetings. Guidance sessions are designed to support students with their academic, social, emotional, and developmental needs.

Another key responsibility of the guidance department is college counseling. When many students and parents hear “college” they often think only of their senior year; however, this process starts long before students enter their senior year. With the support of the guidance department, students have the opportunity to explore their interests, set goals, create long term plans, research colleges and admission standards, prepare for standardized tests, and gain the necessary skills to reach their potential. I welcome students and parents to drop by my office to discuss any concerns they might have regarding education planning or social-emotional needs.

About me: I grew up in Victoria, BC, on the west coast of Canada. Prior to coming to Pakistan I lived in Paris, France for 2 years. When I’m not at LAS I can be found playing tennis, exploring local markets (Anarkali is my favorite), walking my dog, or eating aloo paratha on a Sunday morning!

Please Note:

Due to the global outbreak of the Coronavirus, LAS will begin conducting our virtual school for two weeks. All LAS activities and events have been postponed. We ask parents to regularly check their emails and parent portal accounts for regular updates. Thank you for your understanding.
Please see our Plus Portal for more information.
The Admission Office will continue to be available through email and will continue to support families throughout the admissions process.
