Sana Ahsan is a new Learning Support Teaching Assistant of Elementary School at LAS. She is a behavior therapist by profession with a degree in special education autism major, with theoretical and practical knowledge based on applied behavior analysis obtained from Dar Al Hekma University, which is a  Yale affiliated University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. After completing her degree, Sana has worked in school & clinical settings across Saudi Arabia and Pakistan as a shadow teacher, behaviour therapist, resource teacher, and now a learning support teaching assistant. In 2012- 2013, she received training from The Morningside Teacher’s Academy and Dr. Janet Twyman, BCBA® Workshop on Research-Based Teaching Methods. Her aspirations consist of attaining the RBT certification and pursuing a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis to develop a better tomorrow. Aligning with her philosophy; “In order to bring a change in a society it starts at the grass-root level which is our children.”
