At Lahore American
School, our students are involved in a number of special events
throughout the school year including national holidays, monthly
assemblies, American celebrations, prize giving
ceremonies,
art exhibitions and musical performances.
Many of these events involve
parental collaboration and serve as a valuable way of showcasing
our students' talents and successes.
Our recent Family Literacy Night
proved to be an enjoyable and informative evening. Our parents
rose to the challenge of returning to the classroom and
experiencing an LAS education first hand.
The 2010 Halloween celebrations
were also a great success. Good company, great food and
wonderful costumes in a relaxed and supportive location
in front of an appreciative audience.
The recent Spirit Week activities provided
students with the opportunity to develop stronger bonds
with each other and to showcase their talents to others
within the school. Among the events was an impressive dance
competition by the High School students and a fashion show
by the Middle School.
We look forward to many more enjoyable
special school events as the school year progresses.
