I. Overseas Hire Professional Staff

Lahore American School maintains a 60:40 Overseas Certified Faculty to Locally Hired Faculty ratio. The teaching conditions, salaries and benefits package, and atmosphere in Lahore tend to lead to our faculty coming and staying a long time at LAS. However, every year we do have a handful of vacancies as people retire or move on to try another country.

Unfortunately, due to the great number of people interested in coming to Lahore American School to teach, we do not interview unless a vacancy currently exists.

III. Local Hire Professional Staff - Substitute Teachers

We are always looking for qualified and talented teachers to serve as substitute teachers. Obviously, when a full-time vacancy for a local Hire Faculty Member occurs we look at those people with whom we are familiar first. Those teachers who make a positive impression as a substitute teacher, will always be considered for an interview.
