Middle School Curriculum
At Lahore American School we believe that our school curriculum must include learning experiences that develop active and responsible participants in their own learning.
In order to develop the whole student, middle school students are required to take a varied curricular program that includes not only the core subjects of English, math, science, and social studies but also world languages, the visual and performing arts, personal health and fitness, and information technology, as well as engage in community service learning opportunities.
Our academic programs are based on a philosophy of teaching and learning that is consistent with current research, exemplary instructional practices and American standards of education.
The middle school curriculum is standards based and is vertically aligned to ensure rigorous student academic performance. A standards based curriculum provides consistent competencies which identify the essential knowledge and skills that all students need to be active, lifelong learners in a global society.
