History:
Lahore American School (LAS) is an independent, coeducational day school which offers an educational program from Pre-K through grade 12 for students of all nationalities. The school was founded in 1956. The school year comprises two semesters for the Middle School and High School and three terms for the Elementary extending from mid-August to late May early June. Selective admission is based on prior academic achievement, test scores, a writing sample, and a personal interview.
Facilities:
The school facilities include a cafeteria, science laboratories, a 20,000-volume library, audio-visual facilities, three ICT labs (one of which is a laptop lab), art rooms, a health clinic, and a multipurpose athletic facility. The 4-1/2 acres include an elementary playground, a soccer field, a swimming pool, and a theater arts complex.
