The school is governed by a 7-member Board of Directors, elected for 2-year terms by the Lahore American Society. A representative of the United States Ambassador serves on the Board of Directors as an "ex-officio" member. Membership in the society is automatically conferred on the parents or guardians of children enrolled in the school. The school is registered with the Ministry of Education of Pakistan.

Kathryn D. Cochran is the current Superintendent and is Chief Executive Officer responsible for operation of the school.
