The Lahore American School is an independent
coeducational school based in the historical and cultural heart
of Pakistan. It is home to 410 students from Pre-Kindergarten to
Grade 12 from a number of countries including Canada, the United
States and Korea. The school
evolved from a former private home and in 1956 became a modern
campus allowing for the delivery of a superior American based
curriculum in contermporary facilities.
The quality of an educational institution
is determined primarily by the quality of its instructional program.
To keep instruction at a high level, policies must be formulated
and administered for the best interests of all students.
Attendance at the Lahore American School is
a privilege not a right. In order to safeguard its ideals of scholarship
and character, the school board reserves the right to require
the withdrawal of a student at any time when there is sufficient
cause.
Students are expected to follow the school
rules, regulations and behavioral expectations during regular
school hours and at school sponsored events. Specific rules and
regulations in effect for off campus events are considered as
additional to the regular rules and expectations.
