Extracurricular Activities

At LAS we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom and strive to offer extracurricular opportunities to students as a way of expanding their growth and experience.

In the elementary school, faculty members sponsor after school clubs organized to follow the three academic trimesters. Clubs vary from year to year depending on student interest, but in the past they have included such activities as cooking, arts & crafts, scouts, woodworking, jewelry-making, origami, French, badminton, cricket, and soccer.

In the secondary school, extracurricular opportunities include SAISA sports as well as a range of non-athletic activities such as art, choir, band, drama, science, computer coding, MUN, SAT prep, service learning, and the WWF’s Eco Internship.
