At Lahore American School,
we believe that curriculum is a living and active document,
designed to meet the needs of our students while adhering to
our mission statement.
As we place value on teaching the “whole-child”,
our curriculum programs in their entirety are research based and
designed with the best interests of our students in mind. These
values are reflected in our standards based curriculum and are
integrated across all grade levels from pre-kindergarten to grade
12. Furthermore, specific grade level goals and objectives are
established to meet the standards and contents required for individual
student academic success.
Our elementary, middle school and high school
curricula performance standards are uniform to ensure rigorous
student academic performance. They are based on a philosophy of
teaching and learning that is consistent with current research,
exemplary instructional practices and American standards. Our
programs provide all content areas with a set of competencies
for each grade level and High School course while identifying
the essential knowledge and skills that all students need to be
active, lifelong learners in a global society.
