The college counseling and admission process at Lahore American School works best when it is a partnership between students, their families and the school. To assist students in this process, the counseling department is available for assistance with the selection of options and to advocate timings for the submission of applications.

Students can play their part by undertaking the most challenging curriculum that is appropriate to them. It is very important that they continue to strive for excellence in their coursework as colleges will look firstly at academic performance.

Junior year is an important time for students to begin to seriously investigate college options. In the Fall of sophomore and junior year, students begin this process by taking the PSAT. For juniors, it is important that they spend time and energy researching their college options. AT LAS students can utilize the software called naviance that connects with information about college selections and choices.

The guidance department is here to assist students with any educational or personal needs. Students need to be their own advocate and work to their potential in class work to ensure a bright future.
