| While
understanding that our school is accountable to
the Lahore American Society, and acknowledging that
funding must be adequate to carry forth the mission
of the school, we believe that: |
- Education
strives to maximize the physical, intellectual,
social, emotional, and moral development of
a child.
-
Self-esteem is directly related to success.
- A
commitment to democratic discourse and respectful
tolerance and appreciation for varying viewpoints
are key in a learning organization.
- People
are responsible for their choices, actions,
and the consequences that result.
- Life-long
learning is essential for success in a changing
society.
- Children
are our community's most valuable asset.
- Educational
opportunities must be gender-blind; both genders
must have equal access and opportunity according
to the criteria set for all learners in the
school.
- Diversity
with respect is a strength.
- All
children have a right to safety, love, and learning.
- Risk-taking
and a willingness to change are necessary for
continuous improvement.
