Lahore American School recognises the value of technology as a powerful learning tool in a world that is rapidly becoming dependent on electronic communication. All students at LAS from pre-kindergarten to grade 12 have access to computer technology within their classrooms, the library and three (3) independent computer labs.

In order to prevent the misuse of these facilities, LAS has set up guidelines for the use of computer technology within the school. Penalties and disciplinary actions will be applicable to students who violate the terms of the Appropriate Use Policy.

Students are expected to follow the guidelines, work for the entire class period in a productive manner that is not disruptive to others and use the school materials with care. They will be required to replace any items that are improperly handled or broken intentionally.

All students are required to follow these guidelines and the following activities are not permitted. Failure to comply with the guidelines will result in penalties ranging from the revoking of all computer privileges to suspension and expulsion.
